“I will bounce back strongly and fight for a starting role” – Empem Dacosta

Asante Kotoko’s Empem Dacosta has vowed to fight back and regain a first team regular.
The defender made a promising move from Karela United where he was renowned for his consistent and quality displays.
But a blundering debut saw him drop down the pecking order and became a benchwarmer.
The club blocked his loan move to Legon Cities FC and he is glad it happened.
”I am glad that my move was blocked and I will be back in the team,” Dacosta told Kotoko Express App.
”The team would not have taken those steps if I did everything right. I admit that I brought it upon myself and now I have vowed to rewrite everything. I do not want to leave, so I have to fight back and prove to the technical bench that they can trust in me.”

Empem Da Costa will fight for the starting role along with Abdul Ganui , Wahab Adams , Agyemang Bedu and Habib Mohammed when the league resumes from suspension .
