Report:Proud United to adopt Axim Sports Complex as new home ground
Sekondi based division one league zone || side Proud United have made strong considerations on resettling to Axim in the Western Region.
Domesticsportsgh.com can exclusively reports that the managements are on discussion and if everything goes well ,the club would use the soon-to-be- completed Axim Sports Complex as their home grounds when league resumes from suspension.
The major reasons for this Developments is one;Axim would have division one football for the first time and secondly their presence would boost economic activities for the locals as well as boost income for the club.
One major reasons why they are considering this move,is to capitalize on sports tourism and how it will promotes the images of the towns and cities when they are active participants in major competitions.In recent reports,the club has constantly complained of financial drainage as they record fewer patronage of home games at the Essipong Stadium.
A move to the newly constructed 5,000 capacity Staduim in Axim by the ministry of Youth and sports will not only yield financial benefits but also grow a new fan base if people of the town accept them well.
