Hearts of Oak debunk 30% pay-cut reports

Director of Communications for Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has debunked the 30% Pay-cut report in the media.

The impact of the novel  Coronavirus pandemic is beginning to weigh down the clubs financially as football- operations which would have generated revenue -suspended since march.

In other to survive the financial hardship, several clubs have began to put practice cost cutting measures  like pay-cuts,wage deferrals etc.

However ,Kwame Opare Addo has denied these claims in an interview with Otec FM in Kumasi on Wednesday.

“It is not true that we have agreed on a 30% pay-cut, it is not even a public announcement, we will do it with our players. Everything we do is between us (Club) and the players” Opare told Kumasi based OTEC Fm.

“If there is anything that we want the public to know, we will communicate to them on our social media platforms” He added
