Ghana’s Majeed Ashimeru wins first career title at Red Bull Salzburg
Ghanian born midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has won his maiden career title after helping Red Bull Salzburg thump Austria Lustenau 5-0 to win the 2019/20 Austria OFB Cup on Friday.
Ashimeru joined the Austrian giants from Ghana Premier League outfit WAFA SC in 2017.
The 22-year-old was however shipped on loan to Austria Lustenau and Wolfsburger AC before landing at Swiss side St. Gallen to continue his development.
