INSIDE STORY:The early life of Medeama SC winger Ebenezer Ackhabi
Ebenezer Ackhabi is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a winger for Ghananian Premier League side Medeama Sporting Club.
He was born on September 30,2003 in Eikwe, Ellembelle District of the Western Region.
He is considered as one of the breakthrough players in the Suspended Ghana Premier league season.
He is known for his clinical finishing , dribbling , strength ,and explosive speed.
Early life
Ebenezer Ackahbi started life in a small village in Ellembelle called Ngalekpole near Eikwe where he started his primary education, living with his parents Madam Esther Efua Inkoom and Mr.James Ackahbi who happens to be a footballer as well, Ackahbi is born into a family with much talented footballers which involves his elderly brother Emmanuel Ackahbi whose career was brought into a sudden end after suffering a nasty injury whiles playing for his division II club Junior Neff based in Aiyinasi.
Ackahbi finally settled in Eikwe at a tender age after the demise of his dad, where he went to stay with her mother and finally left to Tarkwa to continue his primary education.
Playing Career
He started his football career with Tarkwa-based division || side Archisu football club.
He was scouted by Samuel Boadu of Medeama SC in a special friendly against Archisu United.
He completed Huni Valley SHS and was a key member of the school team at that time.
Medeama Days.
Ebenezer Ackhabi made his first GPL appearance for Medeama against Ebusua Dwarfs in December 2019.
He has played 13 games ,scored 2 and made incredible 5 assists for Medeama in the Suspended season due to the novel Coronavirus.
Achievement
He was the star of the day when Medeama beat Hearts of oak.
He won the NASCO MOTM.
