Richmond Ayi rates teammate Benjamin Afutu as the best player in the GPL before covid-19 suspension”

Hearts of Oak shot-stopper Richmond Ayi says his teammate Benjamin Afutu was the best player in the suspended 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

The Premier League has been on hold since March 15 following a ban on all public gatherings, including sporting and religious events due to the coronavirus pandemic which has claimed over 45 lives in Ghana.

“Benjamin Afutu is the player that should be awarded if the league is to be restarted for a new season looking at his contribution for us (Hearts of Oak), he was all over before the league was halted,” Ayi told Wontumi FM.

The former Karela United midfielder  was  very inspirational for the phobian side.Ghana football season will be decided after June 30.
