Nzema Kotoko discloses why four months salaries has not been paid.

Financial burden to some football clubs is not new in the current state of the world economic crises.

Sporting activities in the world stage have been affected hugely due to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus.

According to a press briefing aired on Nzema based West End Radio, Nzema Kotoko management have revealed why the monthly allowances of the playing body have not been settled since March following the rapid spread of the novel Coronavirus.

Ghana football season was halted in March after government ban on all social gatherings in a way to curb the spread of the pandemic.

However, the Adminstrative manager of the club, Mr Francis Baah said the decision was purely “Adminstrative” and it might needs a lot of discussions and explanations.

” Yes it’s true, we haven’t paid our players since March due to the pandemic, the last payment was March ” the board and management will soon meet the team to inform them why it has been delayed”he told West End Radio.

He further stressed that, it was based on board decision why it has been delayed and overlooked.

” We were looking at the pandemic and the state of the football first, before any decision can be made” he added.
