Nzema Kotoko looking shaky under the current board and management

Nzema Kotoko looking shaky under the current board and management.

Nzemaland being one of the lands in Ghana and Western Region to have keen love for sports and football as the main seems to be having issues recently and that has got to do with one of the teams well known on the land, especially when they have the club named after the land, Atwe Nzema Kotoko fc.

Nzema’s very own, though there is Karela United fc from Nzemaland that plays in the top division football in Ghana and other host of club in various division but Nzema Kotoko seems to be well known, meanwhile management of the club seems to be having issues in managing the affairs and day to day activities of the club, having issues with the coaching board, not paying players salaries and a whole lot of division setting into the club.

From various reliable sources, since March, the players of the club  haven’t received salaries, same as the coaches which isn’t supposed to happen.

Most of these players are breadwinners for their respective families so how do they play well for the club when assigned to duties, one might say maybe it’s because of the COVID19 but they are not supposed to suffer the consequences of this, they have a contract with the club, at least give them something small for a living.

Again, we understand Ghana Gas has raised a certain amount of money for the team which is supposed to be used to pay the players and coaches but the club managements are persisting, meanwhile it isn’t that money that are being used for the project for the club, I’m saying this because I know the pitch Nzema Kotoko plays on.

Because of this bad treatment to the players, I understand Agyenim Boateng who has been then club leading goalscorer and main attacker and again fans favorite has left Nzema Kotoko, same can be said about goalkeeper Evans Quansah who has also left the club, coach Henry Wellington too has used the back door, which makes him the 11th coach since 2013 to leave the club either been sacked or contract termination and that makes it bad for the Nzema base club.

Before all these Hullabaloos will stop, a whole lot should be done, that is better change must come from the top to the bottom.
