REPORTS: Ex-Hearts of Oak Coach to replace Mallam Yahaya as Karela United Assistant Coach

Your most authoritative portal Domesticsportsgh.com has been hinted that, Stephen Abugri is on the verge of joining Karela United as the Assistant coach following the absence of Mallam Yahaya.

Mallam Yahaya who was appointed as Evans Adotey‘s deputy in March this year, has not reported to camp since the commencement of the Passioners pre-season campaign.

Per sources that we have gathered, Mallam Yahaya might not return to Karela United on technical reasons on which we are yet to get the detailed explanation from the club officials.

However, talks have gone on with the introduction and inclusion of former Techiman City coach Stephen Abugri to fill the gap with immediate effect.

Stephen Abugri was born in Volta Region,  and he has previously had stints with Hearts of Oak, King Faisal, Medeama and Samartex and he is with vast experience in the local scene over the past 20 years.

Head Coach Evans Adotey is said to be the brain behind Stephen Abugri’s move to Karela United with Management likely to announce his appointment when all the necessary negotiations are done.
