Ex Arsenal star denies Kotoko move

Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong says there has not been any talks over the possibility of joining Kotoko as reported.

Reports claimed the Ghanaian giants were linked with the retired footballer who has been off the field for the past two years.

Kotoko were said to have agreed a three-year deal with the 28-year-old, a report the former England youth star has denied.

“At the moment if I’m being honest is far from the truth and there is nothing concrete. You are never ready unless you are tested. At the moment obviously I have been away from the game for so many years and it is going to take me couple of months to get back to the fitness I think is required to play,” he spoke to TV3.

Kotoko have already made a couple of recruitment with the signing of Emmanuel Keyekeh, Mubarik Yusif and Patrick Asmah.
