Justice Blay’s inclusion will boost our title chances- Tetteh Zutah
Medeama SC captain Joseph Tetteh Zutah says the return of midfielder Justice Blay will make them Ghana Premier League title contenders.
Blay has returned to Medeama SC ahead of the season after the expiration of his loan contract at Asante Kotoko last June.
The Porcupine Warriors have made several attempts to snatch him away but negotiations between the two clubs is far from close due to monetary issues.
Zutah, who is the captain of the Yellow and Mauve side believes the returned of the midfield dynamo has automatically turned them into title contenders.
“Everybody knows his performance, he was doing good here, went on loan with Kotoko and did good there and he is coming back.”
“His return will help us to be competitive at all fronts. The season is long, we have the FA Cup and the league as well, so he is welcome,” he said.
The Ghana Premier League will start on November 13 after six months of inactive football in the country due to the outbreak of coronavirus which has claimed over one million lives worldwide.
