Nzema Kotoko to resume training after 8 month hiatus

Nzema Kotoko players are expected to report to training on Monday, October 19 ahead of the National Division one league competition according to West End Radio.

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo in his 17th Address to the nation on the update of the coronavirus pandemic lifted the ban on contacts sports, paving the way for the resumption of competitive football activities in Ghana.

Football has been on suspension since March 16, 2020, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, leading to the cancellation of the 2019/20 Season.

According to Nzema based West End Radio, the Red Armies have informed the players to report to camp and resume training ahead of DOL starts.
Meanwhile the team are yet to announce a new coach after the departure of Henry Wellington.

The new DOL competition kicks off December 13-16 this year.
