Kotoko renew interest in Ex AshGold striker Shafiu Mumuni-Reports
Ghana Premier League Side, Asante Kotoko have renewed their interest in the Former Ashanti Gold forward Shafiu Mumuni, Domesticsportsgh.com has been told.
The Porcupine Warriors could not sign the striker before the start of the season after Ashanti Gold reportedly refused to agree terms with their regional rivals.
According to reports from Kumasi based Kessben FM, Kotoko however maintain their stern interest in the goal poacher as they seek to secure his signature after failing to land their Ugandan target striker.
Sources reveal Kotoko have officially written to the Player’s representative inquiring about the availability of the attacker.
An agreement between Kotoko and player agent would see the 23-year-old joining the Ghanaian giants in the coming days.
