PHOTOS: Tarkwa TNA Stadium construction ongoing despite coronavirus delay
Site engineers are making progress on the historic modern 10,000 seater covered stadium for Premier League side Medeama despite delays due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Officials of Goldfields – who are splashing in an increased $16 million for the redevelopment of the Tarkwa NA Aboso Park engaged the various stakeholders on the extent of work done so far on facility on Tuesday morning.
Works on the undisputedly country’s first ever roofed stadium is currently standing at 18% largely to delays due to the coronavirus according to reports from the site engineers.
The full construction of the edifice slated for 2022 where Medeama will largely benefit from the new edifice as the only Premier League football club in Tarkwa.
