Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid to submit bids for Brighton Star Tariq Lamptey
European giants Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid reportedly want to sign Brighton’s left-back Tariq Lamptey following the youngster’s strong start to the season, German News Paper Sport Bild has confirmed.
Brighton have been struggling in the ongoing campaign but Lamptey has been a prospect with his impressive display scoring one goal and registering three assists in seven appearances in the ongoing campaign.
According to reports, Bayern Munich is ready to offer € 15 million to sign the Ghanaian footballer, who has been identified as a potential back up for Benjamin Pavard by Bayern coach Hansi Flick.
The Bavarians are ready to bid for the youngster but are not willing to spend more than € 2o million to sign him.
Atletico Madrid is also keeping tabs on the youngster as they are ready to price him away to the Wanda Metropolitano.
Tariq Lamptey has a running contract with Brighton till 2023 and he is valued by the club at a fee of €25m
Lamptey moved to Brighton last January and broke through into the Seagull’s first team after “Project Restart” in the Premier League following the break-in play due to the coronavirus.
