An equalizer from defender Christopher Nettey on Wednesday afternoon handed Asante Kotoko a narrow 1-0 win against Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League.
The two teams today locked horns at the Cape Coast Stadium to clear an outstanding match while battling for the available three points.
In a fiercely contested encounter, both teams played well in the first half but could not get on the scoresheet.
Forced to go into the break on level terms, Ebusua Dwarfs and Asante Kotoko resumed the second half poised to go all out to chase the win.
In the end, a headed goal from defender Christopher Nettey proved crucial to give Asante Kotoko a vital win against the home team.
