Emmanuel Lomotey, Diawisie Taylor, Kwame Opoku, Yahaya Mohammed in race for top scorer award

The race to win the Ghana Premier League goal king award has taken shape with WAFA talisman Emmanuel Lomotey and  Karela United striker Diawisie leading the race with close competition from Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Opoku and Aduana star Yahaya Mohammed.

With eight goals, Diawisie Taylor sits second on the top scorer’s chart behind WAFA SC forward Daniel Lomotey who also has the same number of goals.

Meanwhile, with the WAFA SC talisman likely to AS Soliman of Tunisia, Diawisie Taylor looks to have the advantage and has been tipped to go on to outscore Daniel Lomotey in the next few matchdays of the Ghana Premier League.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Opoku and Aduana Stars poster boy Yahaya Mohammed are both in the running to win the top scorer’s award having scored six and five goals respectively.

If the duo continues to display good form in subsequent matches, they could also climb to the summit of the goal king chart in no time.

Below is the current chart of the top scorers in the Ghana Premier League:
