Great Olympics Coach Yaw Preko confident ahead of King Faisal clash on Wednesday

The Head Coach of Accra Great Olympics, Yaw Preko is optimistic of his side’s chances ahead of their game against Kumasi-based King Faisal on Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Dade Boys got their quick two goals through Club Skipper Gladson Awako and Maxwell Abbey Quaye in the space of three minutes in their massive derby victory against Hearts of Oak last Saturday.

The two times Ghana League champions have now moved into the top four of the Ghana Premier League table with 18 points, having scored 13 goals  and conceded 8.

Ahead of their game on Wednesday, Great Olympics coach, Yaw Preko says his side have mapped out a strategy to mark out key players of the team. The former Black Stars Winger also revealed that, their game against King Faisal will be another difficult game despite their fine form against big opponents.

“It is another hurdle, it’s a long marathon. Winning this match is an important match as well.
“We have a game tomorrow and we will go back to the drawing board and fill in where we fell short, and prepare very well against King Faisal” he told Domesticsportsgh.com after the Hearts game.

“We cannot afford to be complacent, though we won the derby against the Phobians” he added.

King Faisal overcame a three-goal deficit against Berekum Chelsea in the match-day 10 to win 4-3 at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.

Accra Great Olympics will be hoping to get the win against Alhaji Grusah’s side tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium. They will move to the top of the league if they are able to wrap up the win on Wednesday against King Faisal.
