We were robbed’ – Nzema Kotoko fans protest ‘dubious’ refereeing after Hasacaas defeat

Nzema Kotoko supporters have poured blames on the match officials following their defeat to Sekondi Hasacaas In week 4 of the National Division One League.

Everything seemed to be going in favour of the Red Armies side with – decent preparations, coach and players were saying all the right things and the fans were optimistic.

However, all that turned in the space of 75 minutes after a controversial goal was awarded to the hosts for handball.

Despite the protests from the Nzema Kotoko players, and with no VAR to overturn it, the goal was awarded for the home side.

Following the game, however, many fans of Nzema kotoko shared their disappointments with West End Radio Heavy Sports on  decision by the referee to award a goal which set their side’s downfall in motion.
