WE ARE IMPROVING GRADUALLY– COACH BASHIR HAYFORD
Legon Cities Head Coach Bashir Hayford believes his team is improving gradually after their recent back-to-back wins in the Ghana Premier League.
The Royals secured a slim win with the only goal from Matthew Anim Cudjoe against Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In his post-match press conference after the win, the Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Ashgold Gaffer stated that:“It’s all about a training and his boys are working hard at the training grounds.
“They are learning and adapting to my tactics, if you come to the training grounds you can see t it”.
“As a coach I can tell that they are improving and that is a hallmark of a good manager”he revealed.
However, Legon Cities have moved to 14th position, keeping two clean sheets and back-to-back wins for the club, moving away from the relegation zone as well.
“I am looking to improve all aspects of the game, not just focusing on the goalscoring but also making sure I have a good stability in the defence as well.” he added.
I believe my boys have improved and I’m happy they are are learning which is good signs for us”
The Royals will be hoping to continue their good form when they face table toppers Karela United in the midweek fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
