Aduana Stars Head Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin insists his team needs at least 5 new players to be considered title contenders.
The two-time Ghana Premier League Champions last won the league title in 2017, and currently sit sixth in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
Following their drawn game against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday in the matchday 11 fixture, Fabin insisted his team cannot be deemed contenders for the title because they lack squad depth.
“We need not less than 5 new players to be considered title contenders in the league,” Fabin said.
“For now, we are not [contenders]; we are just trying to find our rhythm. But definitely, we need to reinforce if we want to be counted as contenders for the league title,” Fabin concluded.
Aduana Stars will play as guest to Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park on Wednesday.
