Plans underway to resume Nzema East Football– Report
Physical Coordinator for Nzema East Football Association, Mr Awoku, has said efforts were being put in place to ensure Nzema East’s Football Season (NEFA) resumes in coming weeks.
According to the Municipal coordinator, they had been in consultations with the Western Region Football Association (WRFA) and health officials to ascertain the state of the COVID-19 pandemic and the possibility of resuming football and other sports in the area.
‘Previously, teams in the Nzema East Municipality played in the Ellembelle district which for him doesn’t auger well” he told Ankobra FM in an interview.
He also talked about registration for referees in the Municipality, that any person interested should contact Frank Wangara( Nzema FM ) and Sampson K Obeng of Ankobra FM.
The Nzema East Football which has been regarded as low standard due to lack of active football clubs as compared to Ellembelle District is currently headed by Madam Margaret Cudjoe.
