Reports: USM Algers express keen interest in signing Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Poku
According to reports from Africa football expert Nuhu Adams, there are multiple news that Algerian Ligue Professionelle 1 giants, Union Sportive de la Médina d’ Alger have expressed interest in signing Asante Kotoko goal wizard Kwame Poku.
The 22-year old former Nkoranza Warriors striker has plundered 7 goals in 14 matches he has mustered in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League for the Porcupine Warriors.
The young man has caught the attention of USM Algers club president Achour Djelloul and coach Mounir Zeghdoud and are keen to bring Kwame Poku to the Omar Hamadi Stadium.
The Red and Blacks will face a stiff competition from fellow North Africans from Tunisia, Zamalek who are also in the market to replace Mostafa Mohammed who has joined Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray SK on loan.
