Nurudeen Abdulai bids an emotional farewell to Karela United
Nurudeen Abdulai who recently ended his stay with the Karela United fraternity to join Dormaa based Aduana Stars has bid an emotional farewell to his former employers as he journeys on to future endeavors.
Nurudeen Abdulai brought his stay in Nzema after elapsing his two years deal with the Passioners.
Saying goodbye to his former club he said “A little over two years ago, I made the decision to join this great club, Karela United Football Club, in taking my football career to the next level.
That decision, doubtlessly, has proven rewarding.
I certainly enjoyed being part of the wonderful run that took the club all the way to the final of the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition (Tier I) in 2019, and of the side that is currently at the top of the Ghana Premier League table.
But of course, even the best experiences in life don’t last forever, and much as I cherished my place here in Nzema, the time has come to move on for newer challenges.
I cannot do so, however, without first expressing my profound gratitude to the management, technical team, playing body, supporters of Karela, the media and to the chiefs and good people of Aiyinase and Nzema at large, for making my stay both memorable and successful.
I leave a better footballer/person, surely, and I wish you all the best in pursuit of the club’s short- and long-term targets.
With warmth and love, he concluded.
Nurudeen played 14 games for the Red and Greens in the firsts half of the season before the expiration of this contract.
He signed for Karela United from AshantiGold SC in 2019 and was part of of the historic team that lost on penalties to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the N.C Special Competition tier I final.
