CK Akonnor goes into Sao Tome encounter with arguably Ghana’s strongest squad at the moment
The head coach for the Ghana male senior national team, CK Akonnor has named arguably Ghana’s strongest team at the moment for the qualifying match against Sao Tome and Principe today.

Currently on top of the table of Group C of the qualifiers to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, the Black Stars are aiming to finish on a high when they play the final match this evening.

Ahead of the game, Coach CK Akonnor has set sight on getting a win and has hence named a very strong starting eleven.

In a team that has Mubarak Wakaso Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, and Thomas Partey, it appears to be Ghana’s strongest first eleven at the moment although there are other players who will be available for selection in the next assignment.

Meanwhile, young sensation Mohammed Kudus is also starting in today’s match against Sao Tome & Principe.

The final AFCON qualifier is scheduled to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium and will kick-off at 16:00GMT.
