Michael Essien rates Thomas Tuchel as the best Chelsea manager
Former Chelsea and Ghanaian midfielder Micahel Essien has backed the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as manager of the Blues following the departure of Frank Lampard over an unimpressive performance.
However, Essien has thrown his weight behind Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, saying he is the right man for the job.
‘He’s come in and is doing a great job at the moment,’ Essien continued. ‘I think he’s the right man for the team.
‘We just have to support him and wish him very well. Hopefully he can continue the good job he’s doing at the moment with the football club and the players he’s got.’
