Inter Milan dethrone Juve as Serie A champs
Inter Milan were crowned champions of Serie A on Sunday afternoon this after second-place Atalanta played to a 1-1 draw against Sassuolo.
The side from Bergamo were the only side who had the chance to knock Inter off their perch this after the Nerazzurri won 2-0 away to Crotone on Saturday evening.
Moreover the title is Inter’s first piece of silverware since winning the 2010/11 title and the first under coach Antonio Conte who joined the club last season amid much fanfare.
Last season, the Nerazzurri missed out on the crown piece of Italian football by just a point to the eventual champions Juventus.
