MTN FA CUP MATCH REPORT: Karela advance after 4-2 on penalties against Hasacaas
Sekondi Hasaacas have been kicked out of the Round of 64 of the MTN FA Cup against Karela United FC after a 4-2 defeat on penalties in a game played at the Gyandu Park on Tuesday.
The Giants came back from behind courtesy an Obed Asamoah Ackah’s equaliser to take the game to spot kicks after the visit had shot themselves into the lead inside the second half through Liberian import Sando Boakai Jnr.
Karela United scored four of their kicks whilst Hasmal failed to score two after the regulation time had ended 1-1.
However, the result have send the Aiyinase-based club to the last 32 of the MTN FA Cup.
