RAG deny claims of helping Hearts of Oak
Ghana Football Association Head of referees Committee Mr Alex Kotey has rubbished reports in the media that referees are intentionally helping Hearts of Oak to win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
Alex Kotey was reacting to a comment made by Great Olympics chief Oluboi Commodore on referees helping Hearts of Oak in the ongoing campaign.
According to Oluboi Commodore, Hearts of Oak is currently on top of the league table because of help from referees.
The retired FIFA referee advised the clubs to report referees to the Ghana FA when they are not satisfied with officiating and desist from making such comments which tarnishes the brand.
Alex Kotey debunked the comments made by the Olympics chief that Hearts of Oak have the support of referees to win the league title.
“What help or support have we (referees) given Hearts of Oak. Why wasn’t he specific on the sort of help we have given Hearts of Oak to be on top of the league?” he told Happy FM.
