‘There’s no small game between Ghana and Ivory Coast’- Max Gradel

The Elephants of La Cote D’Ivoire captain, Max Allian Gradel has predicted a very tough match on Saturday between Ghana and La Cote D’Ivoire.

The Elephants will face the Black Stars of Ghana on Saturday in a crucial international friendly at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The 33-year old Sivasspor winger who is expected to lead the Ivorian attack revealed in an interview with FIF-CI.com, they are expecting a very tough test from the four times Africa Champions on Saturday evening.

“It’s an important game. It’s still Ghana-Ivory Coast. What bothers me is the term friendly match. It is the Ivory Coast which plays. There is no small game. When you represent the country, there is no fun. This is how I see it”

The two countries will use the match to prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which were rescheduled by CAF/FIFA to September 2021 over COVID-19 concerns.
