VIDEO: Attempt to blame Kotoko’s debt position on past management untenable- Edmund Ackah
Former Asante Kotoko Management Committee Member, Edmund Ackah says the attempt by the kotoko Supporters to blame the current debt position on past management is untenable and laughable.
The Kumasi-based club over the years has been slapped with several orders to pay compensations not only to players but coaches whose contracts were abrogated prematurely or unfairly.
The Porcupine warriors were earlier dragged to Court for unpaid compensations by some of their old players.
However, the ex-Management member believes the current judgement debts cannot be directed to past management but rather it should be “sometimes” channel to Supporters.
“ How should they blame the past management, they (supporters) are also part of the cause” he revealed this in an interview with Domesticsportsgh.com’s reporter, GH Pizaro on Saturday.
” The old management were on the verge of dealing these problems, I can tell you, so they shouldn’t blame the old administration, in some occasions they are also part” he added.
“They will bring the problems and later run of it” he concluded.
Some section of Kotoko supporters lambasted the past management for causing financial loss to the club.
Asante Kotoko is already looking for money to offset some of these compensations.
