-It’s our time to make history’- Bibiani Goldstars

Assistant coach of Bibiani Gold Stars Thomas Duah has highlighted their chances to make it to the Ghana Premier League this season.

The Western-North side are edging closer to their first ever Ghana Premier qualification after 1-1 draw with Sekondi Hasacaas on Wednesday.

Goldstars leads the DOL Zone Two log with 57 points, 7 points adrift of second placed Skyy FC who are on 50 points.

Speaking after the game, Thomas Duah believes this time is their time to gain promotion into the topmost division of Ghana football as he feels the remaining matches in the zone are very dicey and must not get carried away.

“When you take a look at Western Region, Bibiani Goldstars have kept long enough in this division as we have seen the likes of Hasaacas, Eleven Wise,Karela United qualifying into the premier league so we believe it’s our time to also make it so we are going back into the technical board to strategize for our home game against All Blacks on Sunday”

“We don’t need to be swollen headed because our zone is very tricky and if care is not taking a team can come to our home and spoil things for us hence the need to keep hold of our winning mentality into the remaining fixtures”
