Hon Affo-Toffey speaks after Proud United’s relegation from Division One League
Proud United owner Dorcas Affo-Toffey has spoken to West End Radio about a variety of topics after the club’s relegation to the Division Two League was confirmed after matchday 28 in the ongoing National Division One League season.
The Member of Parliament for Jomoro revealed that, it was her dreams to acquire football club as promise she made during her 2020 manifesto and she feels proud for making that dream a reality one.
“It’s not time of actions now, it’s time to take what we have learned from this and we can get back there and proved the next time that we can do it better” she told West End Radio.
” Despite our current situation, we still believe in ourselves, and I’m not regretted for this initiative, she added.
The soft spoken politician also urged the supporters to keep supporting the club.
” We should all come together and support our brand in this difficult times, this is not politics, Proud United is for us” she concluded.
Proud United are last on the League log with 21 points after 28 games.
