Capelli Sport to withdraw it’s stake in Inter Allies after betting scandal
Capelli Sport who has a 33.3% stake in Inter Allies is planning to withdraw from the club after an alleged match-fixing scandal involving the club and AshantiGold SC.
According to Kumasi based Pure FM, the company Chief Executive Officer, George Altirs is unimpressed by the allegation that Inter Allies used it’s game against AshantiGold SC on Sunday afternoon for betting.
Unwilling to condone the betting, Inter Allies captain, Hasmin Musah scored two goals to spoil the bet which some club officials of Ashgold bet on the team to win 5:1 in the final league game.
Management of Ashgold have released a statement to deny knowledge of the betting scandal.
