Medeama part ways with goalkeeper Frank Boateng

Medeama Sporting Club has part ways with goal-custodian Frank Boateng after just 10-months.

Boateng joined the Yellow and Mauves from Ashanti Gold SC before the start of the 2020-21 season and has been told to look elsewhere.

It is reported that the top hierarchy of the club are not happy with the 27-year old work ethics and have opted to abrogate his contract.

It is understand that Boateng’s howler against Accra Hearts of Oak in their 3:0 trouncing in the MTN FA Cup Semi Finals in Cape Coast is the reason behind his contract termination.

Frank Boateng was unable to deal with a long ball from Frederick Ansah Botchway which fell on the humble feet of youngster Isaac Mensah who beautiful convert it for the Phobians.

The Situation leaves the Club two goalkeepers, want-away Eric Ofori Antwi and Dacosta Owusu.
