Bismark Kobby Mensah is Karela United’s 8th Coach in history

Earlier today as your most reliable portal reported, Bismark Kobby Mensah has been appointed as the new coach of Karela United.

The 45-year old was confirmed on Tuesday as the successor to Evans Adotey, who was asked to step-aside on health grounds.

According to our close check, the former Ghana U-23 Star had signed a 24-month contract’ with the possibility of an extension”.

Karela United has also confirmed that Kobby Mensah would take charge of his first team training season on next week and will be in CAM Park dugout for 2021/22 Ghana Football Season which kick starts on October 29.

Per the formation of the Aiyinase-based club on October 1, 2014, Bismark Kobby Mensah has now becomes the club 8th coach and one of the youngest to take the helm of affairs at the Aiyinase-based club.

In 2014, Frimpong Manso took the managerial role from Albert Assase and retired Isaac Paha. In February 2017, Frimpong Manso was sacked and later appointed Johnson Smith who guided the team to their very first Ghana Premier League qualification. Smith resigned as head coach after the NC Special Competition to join Asante Kotoko as assistant two. Prosper Nartey came in before the truncated league due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Enos Adepah was later sacrificed for Evans Adotey after poor runs of games.
