Real Madrid have announced the signing of highly-rated French star Eduardo Camavinga from Stade Rennais.
Los Blancos have secured the 18-year-old midfielder’s services on a six-year deal for a reported €31 million (R536 million), plus add-ons.
Camavinga was down to the final season of his contract with the Ligue 1 outfit, and the club were understood to be keen to see him leave for the right price.
“Real Madrid C. F. and Stade Rennais F. C. have reached an agreement over the transfer of Eduardo Camavinga, who joins the club on a six-year deal, until 30 June 2027,” a statement from Los Blancos read.
Real are understood to have beaten the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain to the talented youngster’s signature.
