OFFICIAL: Samartex release Alex Ackon, Nii Kalala and 13 other players
National Division One League Side, Samartex 1996 have parted ways with 15 players which includes former Karela United goalkeeper Hammond Amon Nii Kalala and Ex-Nzema Kotoko Defender Alex Ackon.
The club confirmed the players departure on their official twitter page on Saturday.

According to the club source, they have released these players to pave way for new ones as Coach Kobina Amissah and new management want to rebuild a new set up of players for the upcoming Ghana football season.
Players released are Justice Owusu Nkrumah, Isaac Kofi Nunoo, Alex Ackon, Princewill Glory, Nii Kalala Amon Hammond, Edward Abakah, Andrew Gym Amoo, Samuel Abban, Ekow Benson, Kelvin Andoh, Haruna Bawa Amoak, David Lord Lamptey,George Amonoo, Samuel Agyeman Badu, and Patrick Okai who has already joined Nzema Kotoko.
