Former Bafana Bafana head coach, Augusto Palacios is urging South African fans to continue supporting new coach Hugo Broos.

The Belgian’s young side have had an encouraging start to their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign and currently lead the Group G standings.

Bafana registered a vital 1-0 home win over Ghana over the weekend after a goalless draw away to Zimbabwe in a qualifying opener in Harare.

Former national team coach Augusto Palacios is now encouraging supporters to not put any unnecessary pressure on the Belgian and his young crop of players.

“In a football aspect, you can never predict the results,” Palacios tells Kickoff.com, monitored by Domesticsportsgh.com.

“It’s a new team, a new coach and we need to allow Broos to understand the players and the country.
