Ghanaian top-flight side, Karela United have begun their pre-season training camp in Takoradi a month to the proposed start date of the Ghana Premier League season.
A list of thirty(30)- players led by head coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah arrived at the team camping base in Takoradi on Monday evening.
All the players will be involved in a mandatory club medicals and have a full scale training the following day.
Karela United is hoping to put up a strong training schedule in a bid to make the team strong both physically and mentally ahead of the season.
The Passioners have made some recruitment to argument their squad as they seek to put up a good show in the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup competitions.
Karela United are looking to extend their impressive 8th place finish last season this term in the upcoming campaign.
The Ghana Premier League season has been set to start on October 29 this month.
The team is expected to spend 14-days in Takoradi and will return to Nzema-Aiyinasi two weeks before the Ghana Premier league start.
