In a post on his official twitter page, the defender thanked the Board of Directors, Management, Technical team, Playing Body and the Supporters for the time he spent at the club.

The centre-back fell to the pecking order in the Karela United team last season where he struggled to get playing time.

He lost his place to Kwaku Osei and Kwodwo Addai.

The guardsman despite staying to fight for his position failed to win the battle hence his decision to look elsewhere.

Godfred Yeboah 23, joined the Passioners in 2016 as teenager from Proud United and he has later risen through the ranks to become the club’s captain.
