Former Ghana star Stephen Aidoo has disclosed that education is highly vital in modern-day sports.
According to the Administrator of the Western and Central Regional branch of Professional Footballers Association of Ghana ( PFAG), modern Footballers must be willing to acquire a new language and be able to read in order to understand what is going on in the locker room.
Aidoo, a graduate who is pursuing masters in sports administration stated in an interview with West End Radio’s Stephen Apaka during his usual visit to Karela United, that it’s important for every football to at least has little education background.
” Education is extremely important because today the game is scientific and we must be able to attach little education to make things easy”.
Stephen Aidoo was in Karela United training grounds on Tuesday to have annual discussion with the Premier League players in the Western Region.
