Black Stars midfielder Rashid Nortey has been emerged as the best player at the 2020/21 Medeama SC End of Season Awards in a colorful event held at the luxury Touch Hotel in Tarkwa on Friday.
The vibrant central midfielder went home with the ultimate prize of the night- the club’s player of the season as well as midfielder of the season award.
Nortey who earned the black stars call up following an excellent performance last season beats off competition from Prince Opoku Agyemang, Fatawu Sulemana and Richard Boadu to win the best player crown.
The event saw other key players including Prince Opoku Agyemang, Ebenezer Ackhabi and Richard Boadu who joined Asante kotoko in the transfer window all wining awards.
