European powerhouses Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are reportedly ready to battle it out for the signature of a Nigeria star who could command an asking price of €100 million.
Victor Osimhen has started the season in fine form, with nine strikes in 11 games for Napoli, and it appears that his goalscoring exploits have garnered him some attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
The African forward joined Gli Azzurri from Lille in September 2020 for a club-record fee of €70 million making him one of Africa’s most expensive players of all time, and the 22-year-old could soon be on the move again.
According to Diario AS, Julian Nagelsmann’s Bayern have now joined Carlo Ancelotti’s Los Blancos in the race for the striker’s signature.
Both sides have a 2021 Ballon d’Or nominee in their attack, though, with Robert Lewandowski and Karim Benzema, respectively, starting for their teams.
