FC Barcelona have confirmed that they have parted ways with manager Ronald Koeman after their poor start to the season.
The Catalan outfit slipped to their third LaLiga defeat of the season after going down 1-0 to Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday night.
The defeat has left Barcelona in ninth position in the LaLiga standings, six points adrift of fierce rivals Real Madrid after 10 matches played.

The president of the club, Joan Laporta, informed him of the decision after the defeat against Rayo Vallecano. Ronald Koeman will say goodbye to the squad on Thursday at the Ciutat Esportiva.

The Dutchman joined the Camp Nou outfit in 2020 but was only able to win the Copa del Rey during his time with the club.
