Kuwait Sporting Club have announced terminating the contract of former Nigeria captain Mikel John Obi.
The club in a one-sentence statement on Thursday said the two parties have agreed to contract termination without going into details.
The Chelsea legend only signed for the 16-time Kuwait Premier League side four months ago from Stoke City on a one-year deal.
The 34-year-old has played less than 5 matches for the club.
The Nigerian midfielder had joined Stoke in August 2020 from Trabzonspor- where his contract was also terminated after refusing to play due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
