Ghanaian striker Joseph Esso scored for MC Algers as they thumped WA Tlemcen 2-0 in the ongoing Algerian Ligue Professionelle 1 at the Stade du 5 Juillet.
As a result of a dominating performance from the Mouloudians, 30-year old Algerian forward Samy Frioui opened the floor-gate for Khaled Ben Yahia’s men on the 77th minute.
Esso registered his name on the scoresheet with a brilliant finish in the 81st minute to secure the home win for MC Algers.
The Red and Greens have moved to 2nd on the league standings with two points behind US Biskra after three matches.
