Ghana youth star Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye has landed in Switzerland and is set to complete a move to giants Basel.
Quaye who has a contract with Ghanaian top-flight side Great Olympics is close to agreeing a deal with the European outfit.
Basel have monitored the youngster for some time and are convinced that the time is appropriate to acquire his services and help him blossom into a world star.
The 20-year-old is expected to sign a long-term contract with the 20-time Swiss champions.
If the transfer is sealed, he will become the second Ghanaian full-back to join Basel after former Black Stars right-back spent three years at FCB.
Quaye was a key member of the Ghana U20 team that won the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Mauritania earlier this year.
He also played a vital role for Olympics who finished in an impressive sixth position last season.
