Injury boost for Karela United as key defender returns to training ahead of Chelsea clash

Augustine Randolf is back to training with the squad at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park after 1 month out with an knee injury.

The defender joined his teammates in training on Monday as he could be available for starting role in Kobi-Mensah’s squad for Chelsea showdown.

He showed great endurance, footwork and strength in the day’s session that lasted nearly two hours.

Randolf suffered the painful blow during the preseason training in Takoradi and has had a long road to recovery.

Fans of the great Karela family will be delighted to see the hardworking defender back in the squad, having coming out successfully from training session in the last one week.

Randolf, before his injury, was a regular starter and his presence enhances the team’s strength as he could be available for selection in Sunday’s visit by Berekum Chelsea.

Karela host Berekum Chelsea this Sunday in week 3 of the Ghana Premier League fixture.
