The head coach of South Africa senior national team Hugo Bross has backed Ghana to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.
The Black Stars are set to face final top 5 seeded nations ahead of the final play off of the competition.
The experienced tactician was in the dugout on Sunday night when the Bafana Bafana lost 1-0 to the Black Stars in the final Group G match of the African qualifiers to next year’s global tournament.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Hugo Broos says Ghana has a big chance to be at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
“They’re a very good team. We knew that. It’s a team that regularly plays in the World Cups. So that means that it’s one of the best teams of Africa. They have good players, players who play in Europe with very good experience.
“We will see what the draw is and who they will play against in the next round. But yes, they will have a big chance to again be at the World Cup next year,” the South Africa coach noted.
